Recent Photos Featuring Tropical Storm Lidia

Tropical Storm Lidia Sept. 2017 has its way with our plants.

The Pacific Ocean is tormented too.

And when it’s over…

Flowers!

Hi Sooze, we have some questions about the Storm…
    Questions:
How long does the debris take to clear from the shoreline?
Do surfers like Greg try to do their thing during the storm?
and lastly, we noted the photo in the “after” section and wondered if those homes showing below the person shooting them are new homes on your beach area… Are there slowly more and more people moving there?
I will send an amazing link of a Eucharistic Miracle which occurred in Colombia in 1906.
We are back from Montana and hot-springs camping, and forest fires. Glad you are safe. Bless you friends!

It’s hard to say how long it will take. When the beach was hit with Hurricanes Odile and Newton it was similar to this Tropical Storm Lidia that we just had. It will take a long time; that I do know. The tide will come in and take some and then bring it back or move it to another spot. It will go in and out with the tides. The turtles have a bit of a problem moving over it all, but I have seen three new nests since the debris landed on “our” beach. I took all the photos. Our home is in there, and some of the houses you see are newer than ours. It’s getting rather crowded in our neighborhood. Only fools would surf during a storm. The quality of the water is not good after a storm for weeks because of all the run off from the arroyos. Bacteria floods in. Dirt roads are harder than ever to traverse since the storm. Crazy here.
