What a milestone! Forty-eight years with each other. Here’s the secret:
For each other we have practiced 48 years of:
Affection
Attention
Apreciation
Acknowlegement
and Accomplishment
We have always worked together for common goals. Many times that has meant physical labor. You learn a lot about yourself and your mate doing physical labor together. It’s not always easy, as each of you may have differing opinions on how to proceed, but in the end you have accomplished something together and you can reflect on that time spent as having real value.
This year we were camping at the Wright Family Ranch a few miles from Zion National Park. We were on a vacation of a lifetime, visiting National Parks in Utah, Arizona, and California.

We decided to hike first thing in the morning. It was lovely.

Come with us!

He hates it when I make him stop and pose. hahahaha

The Watchman
After we spent the day enjoying the park, we celebrated at the Wild Thyme restaurant in Springdale, which is nestled up to Zion. Our waitress Lisa was very sweet, and took great care of us. She brought us a nice dessert too “on the house.” Who doesn’t like a nice cheesecake?

We drove to our campsite in the Wright Family Ranch after dinner. It’s a short drive from the park up into the mountains nearby. The views are spectacular from the campsite and we were treated to a lot of privacy. It’s such a big open space where you can camp without neighbors (except for the cows).

The Wright Family Ranch is a HipCamp, and has only outhouses. No water or electricity. Just the wide open spaces we love.
What a day of love and beauty. Thanks for stopping by.

Thank you for sharing!!
Wow!!!
All of it.
Way to go you two!!!
